We are looking for a skilled Medical Information Content Author and Reviewer to join our team. In this role you will prepare, author and review medical information content for use across digital channels, leveraging AI tools to create structured outputs for healthcare professional (HCP) and patient audiences.
This is a dual-audience role. You will work with equal confidence on clinical content for HCPs and plain language content for patients, holding both skill sets to the same high standard. You will also bring genuine AI proficiency: using AI tools confidently in your day-to-day work, with a working understanding of how they function and how regional regulatory requirements shape their use.
Responsibilities:
- Author and review medical information content for digital channels including voicebot, messaging, webchat and email
- Prepare structured content outputs for both HCP and patient audiences, applying the appropriate language register for each
- Apply plain language and health literacy standards to all patient-facing content
- Operate AI-powered authoring tools to generate content from approved medical information source documents
- Review AI-generated content critically, assessing clinical accuracy, audience appropriateness, and retrieval quality
- Apply the programme’s risk classification framework to determine content scope and escalation requirements
- Review and analyse contact centre query metrics to identify content gaps and prioritise the content pipeline
- Build and maintain content portfolios, creating new portfolios for launches and NILEX products across the digital channels (voicebot, messaging, webchat, email), managing portfolio size, and keeping content continuously compliant through timely updates, review dates, and refresh schedules
- Contribute to monthly content performance reviews, identifying patterns and proposing content improvements
- Maintain accurate audit trail documentation for all authored and reviewed content
Requirements:
- Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, nursing or a related healthcare field
- Medical information or pharmacovigilance background in a regulated pharmaceutical environment
- Strong AI proficiency: ability to critically evaluate AI-generated content and understand how AI content retrieval systems work at a practical level. You approach AI output with healthy scepticism, not automatic trust.
- Health literacy expertise: proven ability to write and evaluate patient-facing health content in plain, accessible language
- Ability to write and review for both HCP and patient audiences, and are comfortable in both clinical and plain language registers
- Strong written English and attention to detail
- Experience with data and metrics, comfortable working with contact centre query data to inform content prioritisation
- Experience with patient-facing digital channels such as messaging, webchat, email, voicebot
- Familiarity with content management systems such as Veeva Vault
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in a professional setting
- Experience across multiple markets, including US and/or EU medical information environments
- Fluent German
