Business Development Manager- MedTech/ Medical Devices

Location: Galway, Ireland

Contract: Permanent

Salary: 50-60K base DOE+ commission

Mon-Fri, hybrid 1 day from home, 4 days in the office/field

 

Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will develop strategic partnerships, drive sales
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Manage client relationships
  • Conduct market research, analyze competitive trends
  • Create plans to support growth and market entry for companies in the MedTech sector
  • Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders will be an integral part of this role to ensure the delivery of customized solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, strategic planning, and fostering client partnerships
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills
  • Familiarity with the MedTech or medical device industry, including a good understanding of product development, manufacturing, and market dynamics
  • Close sales and meet or exceed montly and quarterly targets, provide pipeline, meeting and business development reports
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and develop actionable strategies
  • Proficiency in tools for business planning and CRM software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model with flexibility for travel as necessary
