Business Development Manager- MedTech/ Medical Devices
Location: Galway, Ireland
Contract: Permanent
Salary: 50-60K base DOE+ commission
Mon-Fri, hybrid 1 day from home, 4 days in the office/field
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will develop strategic partnerships, drive sales
- Identify new business opportunities
- Manage client relationships
- Conduct market research, analyze competitive trends
- Create plans to support growth and market entry for companies in the MedTech sector
- Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders will be an integral part of this role to ensure the delivery of customized solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, strategic planning, and fostering client partnerships
- Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills
- Familiarity with the MedTech or medical device industry, including a good understanding of product development, manufacturing, and market dynamics
- Close sales and meet or exceed montly and quarterly targets, provide pipeline, meeting and business development reports
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and develop actionable strategies
- Proficiency in tools for business planning and CRM software
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model with flexibility for travel as necessary
