Electrical Project Engineer – Design and Implementation of electrical projects
Location: Dunleer, Co. Louth, Ireland

Interviewing process: two interviews, the first one will be a team call, and the second one will be a face-to-face in our client’s office
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will hold an honours degree in Electrical Engineering and have 3-5 years’ experience in an electrical design role within a commercial setting. Experience with electrical design tasks such as layouts and schematics using EPlan or similar software is preferred. Familiarity with CAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or SAP is an advantage.
The candidate should demonstrate strong commercial awareness, a proactive and practical approach, and the flexibility to adapt to different tasks. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are essential. The role requires travel to deployment locations and a hands-on, practical approach to work.
Responsibilities:
-Design electrical circuits and systems for tanks and modular units to meet specific customer requirements.
-Produce and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, BOMs, calculations, technical specifications, and other project deliverables.
-Ensure all design outputs comply with relevant national and international codes and standards.
-Manage and control engineering documentation for each contract in line with company procedures and quality manuals.
-Liaise with customers to confirm contract requirements are accurately documented and adhered to.
-Compile documentation from vendors, contractors, and internal departments for protocols and reports.
-Review and approve contractor-prepared documents, including vendor SATs, FATs, commissioning protocols, and project change controls.
-Provide technical support to production teams to ensure installations meet specifications and standards.
-Perform electrical design calculations as required.
