DEMAND PLANNER – DUBLIN

Permanent employment contract

Full-time, Monday to Friday, hybrid

Salary: €50k slightly negotiable

Required: EU Passport or Irish Stamp 4

Our client is one of the most prestigious brands and global players in the luxury market. They create, manufacture, distribute and sell high-end jewels, watches, perfumes and accessories in the most exclusive shopping areas in the world and selected distributors and more than 10.000 exclusive perfumeries.

Daily responsibilities:

  • Build and run monthly rolling forecast, collecting, checking and analysing all necessary information, sales trends and seasonality.
  • Implement enhanced statistical models.
  • Lead monthly forecast review with local planners and markets to sharpen the monthly forecast.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Markets on new product forecasting,
  • Provide consolidated forecast and hypothesis to Supply Planning monthly, according to the Supply Chain integrated model.
  • Evaluate product phase-in and phase-out implications on the forecast, as well as novelties cannibalization impacts on existing products.
  • Prepare and lead local S&OP.
  • Participate in the forecast validation process to match the prediction against the Three-Year Plan, budget and related revisions.
  • Define and monitor KPIs related to demand planning and actual sales.
  • Develop improvement action plans to enhance efficiency according to the business missions.
  • Provide forecasting information to all requesting departments.

Requirements:

  • You have a degree in Engineering, Economics or equivalent.
  • Highly proficient in English *French or Italian is an advantage
  • You have 3 years’ experience in forecasting or demand.
  • You have knowledge of and experience with supply chain processes and procedures.
  • Have an understanding of planning techniques and models.
  • Have an understanding of inventory management techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, and PowerBi and experience with Anaplan is a plus.
