We’re looking for a confident, curious and customer-focused Bilingual Business Development Associate to join a growing international team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their commercial career who enjoys working with people, solving problems and learning new technology. You’ll start by developing your expertise in customer operations and client support, with a clear opportunity to progress into B2B sales within 12-24 months.
You’ll work with customers and colleagues across different countries and cultures, using your French and English language skills every day.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll become a trusted point of contact for our contractor and supplier customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing proactive customer support and building strong client relationships
- Responding to customer enquiries by phone, email and other communication channels
- Troubleshooting issues and helping customers get the most from our products and services
- Delivering customer training via phone, online meetings and face-to-face sessions
- Supporting the implementation of sales and marketing initiatives
- Managing client account activities, including invoicing and collections
- Identifying opportunities to improve customer service processes and sharing ideas for continuous improvement
- Researching and developing useful resources and reference materials for customers
- Working closely with internal teams to resolve issues and deliver an excellent customer experience

What we’re looking for
You don’t need to have years of sales experience. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude, communication skills and ambition.
You’ll ideally have:
- Advanced fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in helping customers and solving problems
- Confidence speaking with people over the phone
- Strong attention to detail and patience when working through complex issues
- The ability to learn new software, systems and concepts quickly
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- A genuine interest in developing a career in B2B sales and business development
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

The working environment
This is a hybrid role based in London.
You’ll need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office and be comfortable working in person at least 3 days per week, with 3-4 days per week expected on an ongoing basis.
You will also be required to attend the office during training, team events, meetings and other key activities.
