The Assistant Manager will play a key role in maintaining these high standards while supporting daily operations.
Position Overview:
As Assistant Manager, you will support the Deputy General Manager in overseeing the hotel’s day-to-day operations. This role is essential in ensuring all departments run smoothly, enhancing guest satisfaction, and managing staff performance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Deputy General Manager in managing and coordinating hotel operations.
- Supervise and support department managers to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Monitor staff performance, provide training, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
- Manage inventory, budgets, and operational financial records.
- Support the development and implementation of strategies to improve guest satisfaction and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards.
- Promote a positive, collaborative work environment and encourage team morale.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest service principles.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Effective problem-solving skills with a professional approach to challenges.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
