Our client, one of the most luxurious Italian brands, is now looking for an experienced demand planning manager, to join them in Dublin, Ireland.

Demand Planning Manager Watches and Jewelry

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Demand & Inventory Planning function and team (up to 7 people)
• Develop and implement expertise, skills, tools and KPIs in demand and inventory planning
• Lead and develop the forecasting process for existing products
• Improve forecasting process for new products, in collaboration with Marketing Department
• Define and aggregate relevant internal data and enhance the forecast with external data
• Lead and develop the Target Stock Level process and the global inventory strategy
• Own the Demand & Inventory steps of the Integrated Business Planning Process at central (S&OP) and local level (Market Calls)
• Own the Demand & Inventory steps of the Assortment Revision Process (OTA)
• Own the reconciliation of Operational Forecasting with Revenues forecasting
• Promote and stimulate effective collaboration with all the other department and stakeholders (Supply, Distribution, Merchandising, Marketing) to improve the service and bring efficiency
• Recommend key business decisions based on historical and trend data enhancing opportunities for growth.
• Challenge the status quo to improve efficiency and pursue innovation

Technical skills:

· University degree in Engineering, Economics or equivalent education

· At least 7 years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning role, preferred experience in Demand Planning, 2-3 years’ of which in People Management

· Knowledge of planning techniques and models

· Quantitative data analysis and statistic techniques

· Simulation and scenario analysis/handling

· MS office and SAP BW user

· Fluent in English – French an advantage
