FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT – DUBLIN

Permanent contract

Mon-Fri, full-time, hybrid

Salary: €50k gross/year + Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and reporting of monthly financial accounts within SAP and global reporting platform within the prescribed timeframes.
• The provision of management reports to Business users together with relevant insight to the target recipients.
• Monthly VAT/Intrastat and VIES returns – ROI and UK.
• Monthly P30 returns.
• Preparation and submission of CSO and other Statutory returns and surveys.
• Reconciliation and maintenance of balance sheet accounts.
• Review of CO within SAP to ensure accuracy and address variances to forecast target.
• Assistance on business cases and proposals.
• Assistance in the preparation of budget files.
• Assisting with the preparation of the audit process & liaising with auditors.
• Cross-train as backup cover for other Finance Roles.
• Approving VIM invoices within authority matrix limits.

Requirements:

• Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant – CIMA/ACA/ACCA/CPA/IATI.
• Experienced in SAP
• Advanced Excel skills.
• 3+years’ experience in a multinational environment or practice.
• Proven record in problem solving and ability to critically evaluate information to deliver the right solutions.
• History of delivering, taking charge of tasks and situations to successfully deliver results in a changing environment.
• Can communicate effectively at all levels throughout the organisation.
• Confident to challenge in a respectful manner.
• Resourceful Self-starter who can work on their own initiative.
