Health and Safety – Safecheck consultant
Our client, a provider of professional services to small businesses in Ireland is looking for a Health and Safety – Safecheck Consultant to join their Cork team. Our client’s first specialism was Employment Law and today they offer the service of Human Resource Consultancy, Health and Safety Management, Insurance, Employee well-being, and much more.
The duties of Safecheck Consultants would be but are not limited to conducting a total health and safety check for businesses, and flagging up potential risks or gaps in their health and safety management.
This position would require travel to the client’s premises – a driver’s license required
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Visiting new and existing clients to discuss their Work Health & Safety needs
- Compliance reviews for clients
- Executing an audit, assessing clients’ current compliance levels;
- Completing an evaluation report for the client based on findings of their specific requirements, highlighting any risks, and providing recommendations for the use of service, as necessary;
- Regional travel when required (Cork area)
- Occasional interstate travel
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Qualification in Work Health and Safety
- 12 months experience working within a Health & Safety environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Full driving licence
- Base salary + attractive commission structure
