Within our Supply Chain Centre based in Dublin, Ireland, we are looking for a Demand Planner

 

Accountabilities

  • Define sales forecasts for existing products, collecting, checking, and analyzing all necessary information in order to increase forecasting accuracy and improve service level.
  • Define novelties forecast by collecting them from the markets through our dedicated QCG tool, analyzing, recommending eventual changes, and validating them with marketing and the business unit
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing Department on new products forecasting and act as a pivot in order to integrate it in the global forecast
  • Lead the local Sales & Operations Planning meetings with our strategic markets to have the gaps budget / actual arbitrated
  • Acts as a forecasting interface with all departments
  • Manage phase-in and phase-out implications on forecast and cannibalization of novelties on existing products
  • Support Supply Chain Planning Manager in arranging the demand reviews with BUs Directors
  • Participate in the forecast validation process to match forecast against budget and related revisions, 3YP, and budget definition
  • Define and monitor KPIs related to demand planning and actual sales (Forecast accuracy)
  • Develop the forecasting process, proposing new forecasting models and acting with IT as the key user for the pertinent application implementation/development
  • Ensure one single integrated forecast process across BUs while managing products peculiarities

Qualifications / Professional Capabilities

  • University degree required, focus on Supply Chain, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Previous experience in a Supply Chain role, Demand/Sales Planning preferred (2-3 years) or equivalent experience required
  • Strong Quantitative data analysis skills
  • PowerBi excellent knowledge needed, Strong Excel and MS Office skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create ad-hoc tools
  • Knowledge of Planning techniques and models a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or BW a plus
  • Fluent in English, any other EU language a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate (both written & verbal)
  • Basic Statistics techniques knowledge
  • Strong team player with the ability to work with diverse groups of people in a productive manner
